3.860 g/cm³ Alumina Oxide Ceramic Shot Peening Durable Balls 0.8mm
DESCRIPTION
Alumina oxide ceramic shot peening ball refers to the aluminum ball produced by bauxite, roll powder, alumina, high temperature calcined αalumina powder as raw materials, after mixing, grinding, grinding (pulp, clay), molding, drying, sintering process. It is mainly used as grinding medium, and is widely used as ball stone.
FEATURES
· High-temperature resistance: Alumina oxide balls can maintain dimensional stability up to 3180 ºF, making them ideal for high-temperature environments.
· Wear resistance: Standard 99.5% alumina oxide ceramic balls have excellent wear resistance performance, which makes them suitable for abrasive and high-wear applications. ·
· Corrosion resistance: Alumina oxide balls are tolerant to water, salt solutions, and many chemical acids.
APPLICATION
· Grinding and milling media: Alumina balls are commonly used as grinding media in ball mills, grinding jars, and vibratory mills to grind and disperse materials.
· Catalysts support: Alumina balls are widely used as catalyst supports due to their high surface area and thermal stability. They provide a stable substrate for the catalytic material and can be shaped into various sizes and shapes.
· Chemical processing: Alumina balls are used in chemical processing as fillers, filtering media, and support materials for catalysts to improve chemical reactions.
ADVANTAGES
· Tolerant to water and salt solutions
· Resistant to many chemicals and acids
· Abrasion-resistant
· Spin faster than steel balls
· Nearly frictionless
· Lighter and harder than steel balls
